The Rain hoods covering the side windows are designed for those steamy rainy nights, which allows you to leave the windows fully open for better air circulation.
The room divider is fully sewn in to the tent to keep the bugs out and has an entry point to the tent at both ends which consists of fly screen and canvas. You can either have it fully closed up in winter to keep the warmth in or just simply un zip the canvas to roll it up in the warmer months.
The air vents are designed to let that hot air out which is one of the main reasons why canvas tents get a buildup of condensation when sleeping at night.
The optional insulated roof design we have been using for the last two years and has been proven to keep the canvas roof section in the bed room cooler when camping in the summer moths of the year, also assist in the prevention of condensation.
The optional internal storage pockets are great to house iPad’s and small mobile devices.
The big awning which is incorporated in the tent when deployed is great for a few reasons. One, no separation between the side of your vehicle/trailer/canopy and the tent. Two, staying dry at all times when climbing in to bed. Three, the ability to zip on the optional room.
The zip on optional room has a foot print of 2140mm x 2300mm, which has been designed with a fully sewn in pvc floor which can be used as a change room/sleeping quarters for the family, or for just storage for those long stays. The room consists of two access doors at either end with four extra windows for better ventilation.
Another great advantage about this wall kit is that we custom make it to suit the height you need, including custom zips so you can access the side of you canopy or trailer.
The optional 12-volt power sockets are great so you can charge those mobile devices up at night, along with the dimmable led strip lighting. 12-volt fan can also be added.
The other major key feature that this tent has to offer that some others don’t is the ability to leave bedding in the tent when packed up.
